Booking & reservation systems
Availability, resources, customer data, confirmations, payments and internal administration can be combined in a process tailored to the actual service rather than a generic booking template.
I design and build web applications when a standard website or off-the-shelf SaaS product cannot represent the required process. This includes booking systems, customer portals, internal applications and AI-enabled platforms with custom workflows and integrations.
A custom application makes sense when the process itself is a competitive advantage or when generic software creates too many compromises. I translate the workflow into a clear system architecture with roles, data, interfaces and operating rules.
Availability, resources, customer data, confirmations, payments and internal administration can be combined in a process tailored to the actual service rather than a generic booking template.
Role-based areas can expose exactly the information, documents, tasks and functions each user group needs while keeping permissions and data boundaries explicit.
AI can support search, classification, document handling, recommendations, assistants or automation as one component of the platform rather than the entire product.
The application can be customer-facing, internal or both. What matters is that the system reflects the required roles, state transitions, data and integrations.
Interface, business logic, data storage, integrations and AI components are separated deliberately. This makes the application easier to test, maintain and extend as requirements grow.
I do not recommend custom development when a reliable standard product already fits the process well. The investment is justified when integration, workflow, data ownership or user experience requires a solution that generic software cannot provide cleanly.
Describe the users, workflow, existing systems and the problem standard tools cannot solve. I will assess the architecture, likely integration points and a sensible path from first version to production.
